UPCOMING EVENTS:
VISIBLE MENDING WORKSHOPS
March 13th & 14th, 2 - 4 pm
March 20th & 21st, 2 - 4 pm
Visible mending is the mending of textiles that is meant to be seen. Besides making our clothing more unique looking, visible mending also keeps clothing out of the waste stream. The visibility lets others know that we did a little work to keep the item out of the trash while also making the piece better than before.
Bring your torn pants, holey socks, ripped jackets and coats, stained tote bags, frayed shirts, clothing with unwanted logos or whatever else you've got to our shared studio for a mending workshop or two!
The workshops on March 13th & 14th will focus on patching, basic sashiko and logo removal. The workshops on March 20th & 21st will focus on loom darning, freehand darning and embroidery.

RECURRING EVENTS:
COMMON CRAFT NIGHT
Every Friday, 6 - 8 pm
All are welcome to join fellow crafters for art-making in our shared space. Bring your own project to work on and chat with friends and fellow artists.

WRITER’S JAM
Every Monday, 5 - 7 pm
Prose, poetry, everything in between! If you can think of it, we’re writing it! Get feedback and writing prompts, brainstorm in a group, or simply write alongside other writers in a relaxed, judgement-free environment.
