C.Lofty is a Black, queer, southern poet. Completing undergrad as a James Baldwin Scholar in May 2021 studying critical race theory and visual media. Through their poetry they explore notions of identity formations, the quantum imagination, history, ontology and voodoo practices. C.Lofty self identifies as a theorist, writer, anarchist. They are a self published author of Unloc’d (2021), the Blue & Orange (2020), Lofty [reconstructed] (2020), and The Aquarius’Aquarium (2019). Currently residing in “Western Massachusetts” (Pocomtuc Land).
