Common Folk Presents: Madeline Lee & Adaline Herbert

  • Greylock Works 508 State Road North Adams United States (map)

Madeline Lee is a songwriter sometimes based in Philadelphia and sometimes in Vermont. Her music mixes modern indie rock with old-timey folk, her eclectic sound drawing inspiration from artists like the Cranberries, Mountain Man, Gillian Welch, and Big Thief. Her songs reckon with the "big stuff" in life, love in its many forms the central theme, and through her lyrics, she tells stories just the way they happened, in all their messy joy and pain. Expect a little sad girl guitar, some clawhammer banjo, and the devastating harmonies of fellow Vermont songstress Adaline Herbert. For more information on Madeline Lee and the upcoming release of her first LP, follow @maddielinelee on Instagram.

Adaline Herbert: New-England based songwriter taking their craft to the road for the first time.
