North Adams based artist and herbalist, Tina Louise creates art that inspires a zest for life and herbal remedies that support gentle healing.

She began creating one eve in her youth during an intense migraine. Once the pain had retreated she found herself surrounded by colorful artworks on cardboard that she did not even realize she was making. Through this experience she learned that the making of her art is a powerful force to help navigate this world. A self described tetrachromatic, Tina can see colors within other colors that are not visible to most eyes. This is evident in her vivid pieces that she creates utilizing a genetic mutation supplying her with an extra cone.

Her herbalism practice was spawned by a desire to reclaim physical health. She sought out teachers, and with their guidance, learned how to work with herbs in a safe, effective, and gentle way. A love of medicine making was discovered and she has dedicated years to formulating and testing topical remedies designed to ease uncomfortable conditions. Tina’s organic product line, Boon Botanics includes infused oils, creams, lotions, and balms that provide the help your body deserves as it goes through its natural cycles.
