The concept of eating local is widely accepted, but what about using local medicine?

Local herbalist and holistic chef Shannon Toye will overview the basics of local medicinal plants, including when to harvest, how to use plant medicine to strengthen your immune system and create balance between your body systems. 

There will be samples on hand and we will use locally wild harvested plants to make the traditional folk remedy, fire cider, which you will be able to take home with you.
