Julia Dixon is a creative economy expert, cultural planning consultant, and freelance writer based in North Adams, Massachusetts. Previously, she served as Managing Director of Berkshire Creative and Creative Economy Specialist at 1Berkshire. She has taught and lectured undergraduate and graduate students at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, New Hampshire Institute of Art, and Purchase College. She served as an appointed co-founding member and chair of the North Adams Public Arts Commission, core team member of the North Adams Cultural District, and co-founding board member of the Makers’ Mill.
